I’m now a published author in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society, the USA’s premiere research journal on weather!
Along with five co-authors and our lead, Joseph Trujillo-Falcon (who is a rising star in meteorology and a future Tidal Flooding Talk guest), the society accepted our discussion on The Emergence of Digital Meteorology.
It’s no secret that digital media continues to grow not as a main source for information, but the source for information. However, the internet also puts the responsibility of knowing whether the information is credible and high quality on you. That’s hard.
Thankfully, with the American Meteorological Society’s Certified Digital Meteorologist Seal (which I have) and the National Weather Association’s digital weather seal, it’s easy to know who is the best you can get for you (internet) money.
Give the article below a read. I promise it won’t make your eyes roll to the back of your head. It’s an engaging read on the future of media and meteorology.
Thanks to Joseph for inviting me to be a part of this, and to all of you for your support.
