LiveNOW on Fox’s Andy Mac spoke to Meteorologist Joe Martucci about the 2026 hurricane season.
Researchers at Colorado State University are predicting a somewhat below-average 2026 Atlantic hurricane season, running from June 1 to November 30, with 13 named storms according to their calculations.
A special thank you to New Jersey’s own Katie Gallagher for the invite to the streaming channel!
My friend and fellow Certified Digital Meteorologist Emily Gracey puts together a kick butt podcast called Off The Radar. Every week, she does a 20-30 minute show about weather, climate, the environment and how we interact with it.
It’s not just some random podcast, either. Based in Charleston, SC Off The Radar won the National Headliner Award for “Best Information Podcast” in 2025.
Emily had me join the show to talk about our February 22-23 nor’easter in New Jersey. If you thought the 12 inch-plus snow was a lot here, Emily’s other guest, Meteorologist Chris Gloninger had over 30 inches of the white stuff in Cape Cod. Another weather friend of ours, Chris broke down the societal impacts of the heavy snow and wind. The storm there was a true emergency in that corner of the country.
Two to three inches of precipitation will be in this snowfall. Think about how heavy it is to carry a water cooler. Now try to move that weight off your driveway, your sidewalks and parking lots. It’s hard. Use a snowblower or hire a contractor if you’re able in order to lessen the risk to you.
LiveNOW on FOX’s J Russell interviewed me Saturday night, less than 24 hours away from a major nor’easter. We talked about what the entire Northeast corridor will expect, black ice concerns and what to know about clearing this wet snow after. Thanks for having me!
That’s the point founder Joe Martucci made to NJ.com in this article about non-degreed Meteorologists and generic weather apps. Find the article below!
LiveNOW is FOX’s 24×7 streaming channel. I was brought in as an expert to discuss this historically large (in size) winter storm for the United States, and even help them out with their water vapor satellite map. Thanks to anchor Austin Westfall as well as producer Julie Gallagher for the invite!
Joe Martucci, Cup A Joe Weather and Drone President, was happy to join Jersey’s biggest news source to talk about the upcoming winter storm. See the interview below.
The nor’easter that struck the state this weekend, blasting the shore region with gale force winds through Tuesday, caused flooding all along the New Jersey coast. Thanks to NJ Spotlight News’Joanna Gagis for interviewing us to keep people informed all throughout the state on what happened at the coast.
