I was doing some thinking… This nor’easter is the exact OPPOSITE of the Jan. 25 coastal storm. It has to do with the way this Feb. 22-23 storm will precipitate vs. the way it happened with the Jan. 25 storm.
In this upcoming nor’easter, the precipitation will be so heavy, it’ll tap into the sub-freeze temperatures aloft. This will then cool down the atmosphere, flipping rain to snow.
It was just the opposite on Jan. 25.
