Waves overtook the seawall on 2nd Avenue in North Wildwood with Monday’s NJ nor’easter. North Wildwood is a hot spot for beach erosion at the Jersey Shore and with wave action like this, more is expected.
Nearby Cape May Harbor saw three consecutive tides in flood stage, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration between Sunday and Monday. That included two moderate stage tides.
